Deadman Handswitch Zone 1 Certified
The Global Refuelling Products Deadman Handswitch is designed to be installed into a fuel system and provides safe control of the pneumatic valve.
The Handswitch is easy to operate and fits into the palm of the hand, by squeezing the Aluminium handle and holding in position will open valve and allow product flow through the fuel system, to stop product flow the Aluminium handle is released.
The Global Refuelling Products Deadman Handswitch can withstand being used outside in harsh environments and is ATEX certified to Zone 1, Ex II 2 GD T4 when installed through a intrinsically safe barrier.
The Deadman Handswitch has been manufactured especially for use in ATEX Zone 1 environment, this has been achieved by using an ATEX certified material for the body and end cap, ATEX certified Reed Switch and ATEX certified Cable Gland.
The Deadman Handswitch has been tested to IP67 rating for dust and water ingress.
The Deadman Handswitch can be supplied with two core spiral cable, three different lengths available:
- Part No. HAND-STD-0021 – 5 meter fully extended
- Part No. HAND-STD-0022 – 14 meter fully extended
- Part No. HAND-STD-0023 – 22 meter fully extended
The Deadman Handswitch has been manufactured especially for use in ATEX Zone 1 environment, this has been achieved by using an ATEX certified material for the body and end cap, ATEX certified Reed Switch and ATEX certified Cable Gland.
The Deadman Handswitch is perfect for controlling aircraft refuelling and tanker loading/offloading.
